Winter Wellness
As we’ve officially entered the Winter this past week, it is time to discuss our wellness in the colder months of the year.
Below, you’ll find a detailed overview of my favorite ways to engage herbal remedies. I created this for a quick reference. Many herbs have contraindications and may interact with medicine you are currently taking. We should also consider what preexisting conditions we have and how individual herbs interact with these conditions.
Child-like remedies such as lavender typically have less interactions if any. Ashwagandha is a very popular herb that should be used with proper understanding of any contraindications and understanding the most effective way to use it. This is why it is important to share with your physician what herbal routines you plan to incorporate. If you need additional herbal support, feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have.

If you haven’t made the jump into herbal remedies, consider the beautiful magic they share. Last year for the holidays, I made elderberry syrup for my entire family. It was my first time sharing this medicine. I made my own recipe that I often change up depending on what is needed. That was the first year that none of us got sick during the holidays.
Happy Holidays! Happy New Year! Take Care of Yourself.
